Dwa pociągi osobowe: relacji Przemyśl - Warszawa i Warszawa - Kraków zderzyły się w Szczekocinach koło Zawiercia w woj. śląskim. Liczba ofiar śmiertelnych wzrosła do 14. Około 50 osób zostało rannych. Na miejscu katastrofy trwa akcja ratunkowa

Ruch Palikota tworzy zespół ds. wyjaśnienia skutków podpisania i ratyfikacji umowy ACTA - poinformowali politycy partii. Zapowiedzieli też pismo do szefa MSZ Radosława Sikorskiego z pytaniem, czy ambasada USA "w jakiś nadzwyczajny sposób interesowała się" sprawą ACTA.
